How is mapping your career strategy different from what it was before the economy changed?

We've spent two years in a fear-based economy. Although the downward spiral is showing signs of tangible recovery, it's not yet back to business as usual, and it may not be for a very long time.

If you've stayed on in a job that you would otherwise have left had it not been for the recession, you may be thinking that now is the time to move on.  When it was a candidate's market, getting the position of choice with the salary and benefits expected was fairly easy. And although that may not be the case now, it doesn't mean that you won't find the right next position with the compensation you want.

In this Ask The Expert call we discussed how to strategically position your career in this economy so that you stand out from the rank and file.
